Finding La La Land - Self Directed, Produced & Edited Short Film
I decided to make my short film about something really important to me - pursuing your passions. Using myself and my friend as the main characters, I depicted a story of two girls feeling lost and unfocused, becoming driven and inspired by things they loved to do. Dancing and Filmmaking. The two girls have a conversation one afternoon about “finding their La La Land”, something that inspires them, and then as they find what makes them feel inspired they share their passions with each other and it becomes a beautiful story of inspiration, friendship, and happiness. In total this short film took me about 17 hours to make, which includes filming and editing.
